North East Delhi

North East Delhi is a district in the Union Territory of Delhi in India. The district is bounded in the north and east by Uttar Pradesh, in the south by East District, in the west by Noth District.

The three tahsils in the district are - Seelam Pur, Seema Puri, and Shahdara. The area of the district is 62 sq km, and population as per census 2011 is 2,241,624. There is only one town in the district while the number of census towns are 15. There are only 9 villages in the district.

The district headquarters is also the headquarters of Seemapuri and Shahdara tahsils.
